Description:
Duke University Health System along with the Weight Loss Surgery Clinic approached Visualzen with hopes of developing a web application to decrease time consuming activities and increase patient-doctor relations.
Part of our challenge was to create an environment that would both adhere to HIPAA regulations and give the hospital and clinic a stronger online presence. At the same time, Duke asked Visualzen to integrate an e-commerce package that would allow patients to pay for certain medical fees online.
